Re: New car purchased. Fords finest.
It is a saloon. Headlights are a bitch to find. It will be on the road again soon. Owned by my friend for 5 years I think. Its only off the road for some bits to be done for mot. Its one of his daily drivers. He's not happy at the minute as he's having to use his 2010 aixam crossline for everything

Re: New car purchased. Fords finest.
Not too bad to find (says the hoarder). Rialto 1 are the same generic rectangular Lucas efforts as other stuff or the era and earlier and I might even have a pair knocking somewhere. I may even have one on it's own. The only thing you have to watch is 4 variants: 410 tungsten bulb holder / H4 holder / without sidelight / with sidelight.
Last time I bought one in a shop was 20-odd years ago mind, when the LSUK was still around and they were made in India.
Looking up my old notes: Autopal HL109
http://www.autopal.com/content/rectangu ... entional-1
They are still knocking them out.

He couldn't seem to find anything. He's tried,if I remember right, some form of hillman,an early jeep of some sort, a capri and metro. He's found random things online so follows it and buys what they say. I'll give him a ring with your information though Eddie, thank you. He said he's struggled more finding one with sidelight capability in the headlight.

Yeah I had this problem with the Kitten - finding one with sidelights as some of the others don't have 'em
I did have a nice pair of Cibie H4s in my red Kitten.

I forgot about the green dash. He said it's very uncommon to find that too. I did say if he struggled to just fab up some backingplates and fit some circular bike lights in them
