I think you got yours for a great price, all things considered.

They're old cars now, most of them will need attention and tidy bodywork might well hide a whole host of bodges & problems.
On the road:
1998 Disco 4.0 V8 (manual)
1994 Vauxhall Calibra 3.0 V6

Running but need fettling:

1986 Honda CBX750F
1991 Maserati 222 SE
1990 Yamaha XJ900F

Tax & MOT-exempt, woohoo!

1982 Suzuki GSX1100SZ Katana

That's not helped by them being so cheap for so long. Even now they're still at the bottom of the barrel for 70s stuff, let alone performance 70s.

Fuck sake, I could have had that auto Sprint. Why the fuck wasn't it showing up in my searches?

Even in Manchester.

I'm perfectly happy with what I'm looking at though, if not happier.

The Aqua Sprint was colour changed. BL axed Aqua in 1973 and it was Austin Morris only, never Triumph.

Could you ever have custom paint colours out the factory by BL?

Fuck knows how long that must have taken 'em. My grandad waited 3 months for a Zircon Blue TC after they kept trying to fob him off with nappy stain colours....

There is the Applejack Green VP 1500. It left the factory in that colour. So someone ordered it, and they painted it.
