Insurance renewal.

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

Renewed my U.K. “trade” policy for the last time. It jumped about £600 three years ago because they said they were undercharging for years apparently.

17 years never claimed. Gone up every year.

£1800 for two of us comprehensive drive anything trade and sdp. Can’t find a French version.

Current dog wagon berlingo multispaz was €260 the same as last year but with 5% off as they wouldn’t accept the NCB we had and I couldn’t be arsed arguing.
Just when I thought I was out they dragged me back in.

That sounds expensive my trade policy was £1200 ish which includes public liability, product liability and the workshop. That was through Peter James as I have classic cars covered on it as well. A lot of trade policies have a sneaky clause that anything over 25 years old is only covered third party. Which is rather shit if your customers pride and joy gets damaged. Trade insurance certainly isn't what it once was as there are so many get out clauses now and things they don't cover in the small print. When I first started I could steal a car and be insured now if it's value is over a certain figure they will argue their way out of paying.
