Still, is it the right car for Ghosty?
I think not.
The 1850 isn't the thinking Man's anything.

The real deal or go home.

This 520 is nice (lose the stripes), and the wheels are genuine Alpina.
But it's got no MOT and the owner's blurred out the plate, which could be bad.
4 bags for a stickerbombed 520?

And there was I thinking Fords are scene taxed.
It's been for sale for decades. I have to laugh 'cos I had the real thing, 245 bhp B9 3.5.

I shit on your Alpenis stripes.

Like?
My E32. Even now it wouldn't break 2 grand on a good day. Therefore it's worth half as much as a rusty example of an inferior car that folk buy because it reminds them of the good old days, whatever they were.

Like Junkman, I owned a lot of these 'valuable' classics when they were bought by mere mortals and priced accordingly. That Granada Estate is worth 500 quid to me. It's fucked.

Granadas are lovely motors, like most old Fords. But they aren't worth the bloody stupid scene prices asked for any of them.

I don't have many requirements past auto, but I don't really want a two seater or something post-1990, I have the Volvo for the latter, and if I want to be more sensible still, I'll get insured on my mum's Bini.

Cars I like vary from big executive 80s barges like CXs, SD1 2600s, the early 827 Vitesse, XJs up to XJ40s, mk2 Granadas, E28s, and Senators, to a variety of oddities like BMC Farinas, high spec Dolomites, the original Audi Coupe, Renault 4s, etc.

This is still for sale in your budget range.

Ok it's not an auto, but I can't imagine it'd be too hard to butcher one in.

2k for that hearse is taking the piss it's 500 quid tops. What funeral director would order a cosworth hearse ? I think the Granada Cosworths weren't anything special and certainly not 2k in the state that thing is in.. I am sure junkman knows more about Granada Cosworths and can enlighten us. Why not have a look on Leboncoin around Caen. There are a few 5 auto's and a a couple of yanks for less than 3k

Yes indeed. You can entertain a lady tete a tete and bonk senseless. Without your parents listening in or voicing disapproval, so it fucks them too.
