Two wheels good.

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

No CBT for me, as took my test in 1976 in Colchester, and just rode round the block twice like you

My advanced test was in 2000 and was six weeks long, taking place in North Wales. 7 hours riding a day, 5 days a week. Had to study Roadcraft and the Highway Code beforehand. Surprising that I managed to survive those 34 years without any major incident, as it seemed I knew nothing about riding.

I scored very low on the autie test. I’m cheerful, happy, confident, like meeting new people, chatty and largely sociable. What the fuck am I doing on this forum?

That sounds great. Getting paid for it too I guess?

Indeed I was paid. Plus I then had access to a number of new bikes too.

Just arrived back home after 30 days, 7,890 kms (4,902 miles), 12 countries and six minutes of riding in rain.

No more trips now until September. Mainly because I have tons of weeds to pull up from the garden.

So exactly who are "calling for a ban"? Certainly not anyone connected to motorcycles or motorcycle racing.

Probably cunts like those on Mumsnet or Brake. It is a personal decision to race there. You either want to or not. It is not for someone else unconnected to you to make that decision for you.

Boils my piss everytime I see calls for a ban.

After a wander around town & decent fish n chips, a pint was had in an Irish pub before heading home.

I hope you didn't go into the chip shop to the left of your photo. They weren't even good last time we went in.

Nope, down the road a bit & on the left by the bridge. Forgotten the name but has a blue plaque as best chippy according to BBC good food mag, it was damn good & a decent price too.
