Presumably he's tried disconnecting the battery to see if the broken head unit resets itself. Or maybe not bothered? Quick Google suggests it affects the climate control panel too, so would be annoying if it was playing up.

TBH at £500 unless it's smoking like a chimney or sounds like it's about to die imminently that's a years very cheap motoring. Unless the price of scrap hits the floor you should get most of your money back easily.

Damn that's sad. It's lasted all this time too.
Not sure they'd ever get much out of breaking that. Can't be that many around to justify it.

Yeah it's a sad end for that old bus, especialy as it doesn't really look to need 'that' much. I assume someone has it earmarked to race

Looks to be sold out of a bit company. Would it even be possible for that? I'd have thought anything unsold would lead it to the crusher rather than resale and all the potential issues from a big company risking by doing that.
