Re: Car Accessories That Scream BELLEND To You
Reminds me of a van I used to see regularly, lettered with:-
“Specialists in all kinds of general building work”
Fashions and fads change. I used to know a right bellend who drove a tomato-soup Marina 1.3 coupe.
Massive CB antenna.
Starsky and Hutch stripes.
Rear axle wobbling about on looong spring shackles for…err, some reason.
Furry dice.
In retrospect, really quite classy compared to a pcp Juke on fairy-dust.

'B' badges on a Chrysler 300C intended to deceive cretins into thinking they've seen a Bentley

4D plates
Those 'Carisma' BBS knock off wheels that look fucking shite on almost everything they're fitted to
'Prancing Moose' stickers on Saabs and Volvos
Cars lowered so much they ground out on speed bumps and slow the traffic down/get stuck on drop kerbs/get stuck going up car park ramps
Whitewall tyres on European cars that never had them fitted in domestic or export spec
VAG morons fitting prestige marque wheels to their bilge (e.g. Bentley wheels on Skoda Fabias, Porsche door handles on VWs, Lambo wheels on T5s, etc)

I don't think so. I don't remember red-lit axles being a thing at all.
Starsky & Hutch stripes were really big however, there was even a local (Red and White bus company) Leyland National bus. Looked quite good actually.

My VW specialist does.
It's been 9 years since it's been restored and not a single fire.
Actually he is very knowledgeable as well on non incendiary issues.

That was just the start, now they’re cheap almost everyone you see seems to belong to descendants of those old Jamaican guys in the 70’s who adorned Mk3 and 4 Zephyrs with every bit of tat available. To a man they always have a sticker proclaiming allegiance to “ The 300 MOB”
I loved the one I had 10 years ago but could never have another because of these cunts.

Re: Car Accessories That Scream BELLEND To You
I could have one happily however it would need to be a Hemi powered version, preferably running with Zoomies or sidepipes. Then obviously it would need an LPG conversion so I could get it back from the exhaust place..NorfolkNWeigh wrote: ↑Thu Oct 27, 2022 6:40 pmThat was just the start, now they’re cheap almost everyone you see seems to belong to descendants of those old Jamaican guys in the 70’s who adorned Mk3 and 4 Zephyrs with every bit of tat available. Re: Car Accessories That Scream BELLEND To You
I fancied a 300 for a good while but I'm afraid the current wave of ownership has indeed made me not want one. My LHS is, strangely, more American in flavour, certainly in terms of ride, than the seemingly superior 300s which were after all built in Austria for our market (and Canada for the North American as was my LHS). Unfortunately in the early 90s Chrysler saw their big car future as FWD V6, Jag-basher for the LH platforms before reverting to V8/RHD correctness for the replacement model.
There's a great long bar in Rock & Roll heaven.......
