Re: What did you do today?
Used them in the Merc for a few years now as it gets damp due to wet dogs in it (car itself is water-tight) and they keep it clear. They don't work when it's freezing cold but otherwise well worth the dosh.
Re: What did you do today?
Got inner wear on all 4 tyres on the BMW. I'm not spending another £700 on PS4's, even though they are the best tyres I've ever put on a car.
So £264 later, 4 * Toyo proxies are winging their way to me. Will arrive tomorrow, and hopefully borrow the Polish guys tyre machine from the unit next door to put them on.

Re: What did you do today?
Replaced the water filler on the motorhome as the cap was becoming a right twat to get on and off. Twenty quid off fleabay for the complete gubbins, just a bit of time and silicon sealant.
Yes, aluminium, polystyrene and an inner decorative panel for all your dosh.Re: What did you do today?

Did a buy.
300E, 61k. Two grand. Masses of work and receipts, two keys etc.
It's a gem.
Went down there with some Junkman bloke. Was described as having a cutting out issue when hot. Sure enough it was getting up to temp then it'd just die.
We pulled the dizzy cap off and cleaned the king lead contact. Issue gone.
This may well be a keeper.

So was mine. On reflection probably the car I should just have thrown a bit more money at instead of selling it to Gambia.

Re: What did you do today?
Just had to inform one of my customers that the Passat he bought to replace the BMW with the stolen cat and timming chain issues is fucked. less that 60k miles on a 2013 Passatt CC, the turbo seals have blown and filled the exhaust with oil. It still runs and drives perfectly but is pouring oil out the exhaust and clouds of grey smoke. The intake side is ok with just a hint of oil. It's going to be over a grand to sort out.
