They did.
The main citroen dealer here had a guy that did nothing but try and fix leaks.

Other than maintenance, there isn't much to report on my fleet at present.

I'm still battling with the brown 93 water ingress issue into the drivers footwell. It had dried out as we hadn't had rain for a week but we will see if my repair has held up today as its lashing down.

I carried out my 6 monthly oil change on the red 93, I've got it down to a T on these cars now, very easy.

I checked the scuttle drains in the black 75, an annual necessity on these due to the ECU living in there. It will get flooded if the drain tube becomes blocked with leaves. 9 times out of ten if a 75 owner has odd and erratic electrical problems on the car relating to primary functions such as wipers, lights and so on, it will be a flooded ECU. I also fed the leather seats with Gliptone. The MOT is in February so I'll carry out my annual upset of the Rover windaelickers by squeezing the airbag connectors together under the seat to temporarily extinguish the light rather than fixing it properly.

The Cavalier hasn't moved from the garage since October as its in SORN and away from the road salt.

I forgot how much of a fucking pain in the japsy a 75 is in sub zero temperatures. Absolutely everything freezes up and then fucks up for the rest of the day. Usually it's the door mechanisms freezing and bouncing open (whichdid happen briefly with one of the doors) but today it was the boot. It opened fine with the button but it would not latch again for the rest of the morning. I just drove about with it unlatched, seemed OK. I couldnt lockni it either as the alarm would immediately go off.

It finally thawed out about 4 hours later.

Absolute cunt of a motor in the winter.

Our Punto used to do the door lock trick but it was developed in far warmer climes.

Isn't that why you should put a bit of spray grease in locks as it keeps the moisture out?

I think so.
The door rubbers also used to freeze shut but Gummi P. fixed that.

I checked the drivers footwell of the brown 93 yesterday and half expected it to be wet again after all the rapidly melting snow and rain we had on Friday. However it was bone dry so I'll call that fixed. I'll keep an eye on it though.

I also posted up somewhere that the red 93 had given me '5000 trouble free miles' so as a reward it threw on the ABS light and the traction control light was flashing too. The SiD was going off its nut as it didn't know which of the 3 warnings to give me first! Thankfully parts for these cars are still ten a penny.

Attention seeking bastards aren't they? At least as soon as they hear you say they've not been.
