My mum also used to have a pressure cooker like that, mainly used for doing steamed puddings, I think the seals went on it in the end and she discovered that you can make steamed puddings in the microwave!

It wasn't actually the pressure cooker that I remember, it was the oven!

Done is better than perfect
I might get that made up as a sign and put it on my garage wall.
Bought this to go up on my garage wall to remind me of this.

I've left it to Mrs SiC to paint it/do something arty. I said just paint it white, but apparently that's boring

Not strictly "today", but over the last 7 weeks or so I've turned my Disco 2 chassis from this...

... and fabricated some of these...

... so now it looks more like this:

And that's just the chassis. It also needed the nearside front inner wing & both rear sills fettling, I didn't take many pics of those repairs though. Here's the front inner wing after I'd chopped out the rot though...

... and a pic of the nearside sill after I'd repaired it but before painting...

And as a bonus, a couple of pics of the new shock top mount fabrication, before & after the origami :-D

So yeah, a shitload of work. Tonight I was building the back end back up, and the needy bitch has now decided it wants a new nearside ARB drop link as well. Fuck my life, lol.
