Detuned for safety too, I'm bloody sure they used to get quoted at 217bhp back in the day.

Were they? I thought they were only 205 from the factory.
A mate had a massively tuned 3 door hatch with whale tail back in the day. It was proper rapid. I reckon about the year 2000. I wonder what it would be worth today.

I thought 204 or 220 for later ones.
317 seems too high to me for a factory spec one.

Seeing that Saph with a caravan reminds me that a mate has got a Moonstone 3dr with a Ford dealer fitted towbar. He bought it off the original owner who was a printer and used it to tow a little towavan thing. As the jammiest fucker in history he paid £4k for it about 18 years ago. Sits in his garage next to the Mk2 RS2000 he’s owned for 36 years, I remember exactly because I towed it back from Leicester behind my 2.3 Ghia Cortina the night before my oldest was born.

Ha ha ha. Yup. Fixed it.
Would have thought I could manage ‘cut and paste’ but I guess I’m too technofobe for even that!

Yes honey, I’ve got the car up for sale on eBay.
I know you hate it, but I am trying to sell it.
