On 28 October 1948 The XK120 was on display at stand 146 at the London Motor Show at Earls Court. Just look at all those proper makes of car now lost to history.

Wonderful.....Sadly the rot had already started with some of those names - Lanchester and Wolseley both badge-engineered and Delahaye just a pipe-dream. What a point at which to pause the history of motoring, though, if it was possible.
