I think so? Radial brake discs must be pricy though.
I seem to recall some had trick stuff like fuel in frame and oil in swingarm, so figured lots of bits not fitted to owt else.

I'd forgotten about the strange discs
They also have lots of bushes or plain bearings that wear regularly according to an owner I spoke to. He confirmed they were a right laugh to ride.

Many years ago I was working as an agency HGV monkey for a firm in Runcorn. It was the type of firm where everyone who worked there owned a bike. I bit my tongue when one of the directors looked at my GPZ500 and announced that a Kawasaki twin is a wonderful bike and he toured all around Europe on one. I can only assume that he had one of those Kawa 400/750 twins that I only had the displeasure to ride once. If it wasn't for the fact that it was such an easy gig I'd have told him to ram the 400/750 twin balance shaft up his arse.

I scored very low on the autie test. I’m cheerful, happy, confident, like meeting new people, chatty and largely sociable. What the fuck am I doing on this forum?

Very much so. Change direction like a housefly is the description that springs to mind. Also very odd feeling the pulses from the exhaust hitting your foot as you lift it onto the peg. First time I rode one I had to stop to have a look at what was hanging off.

At £3500 they don't seem very expensive for what they offer.

The only one I have ever seen was owned and used by the slowest rider I have ever known.
To be fair the owner never acted like he was a racer, unlike a lot of sportsmen riders who think a fast bike makes them a fast rider by osmosis.
I remember reading somewhere all the chassis dimensions were based on a 250 grand prix machine, I bet they are lively.
A bit of a waste really, but the owner didn't care, he enjoyed riding it.
