Re: Onslow's new motor.
Bloody staff. My solution is to screenshot it, then that should post.
As I suspected I was right about everything.

Uploads work for me, so it's hard to find the issue.

Re: Onslow's new motor.
I did actually post how good I thought it looked without those shit plastic Ford things but for some reason the post went off into the ether or lodged itself incongruously in a thread about fanny.
One of the security bods in the docks used to fancy himself as a bit of an ex-squaddie, ex-copper (whether true or not I never knew nor cared) and his plain-coloured Primera or Mondeo or whatever he had (always a boot version) was always minus trims in attempt to get that "might-be-undercover" look.
Unfortunately the actual appearance was more "might-be-just-as-rusty-underneath....."

Re: Onslow's new motor.
Never really paid any attention to these, but after looking at yours I can't help thinking they've aged really nicely. Looks like a brilliant purchase, especially in the current climate where it's difficult to get anything decent for less than £1k.

Re: Onslow's new motor.
It's got wheel trims but they are shite aftermarket things. Wouldn't look bad if I could be bothered to spray the wheels black. I've got some satin black in shed too. Trims are back on it now.mercrocker wrote: ↑Fri Apr 14, 2023 3:21 pm I did actually post how good I thought it looked without those shit plastic Ford things but for some reason the post went off into the ether or lodged itself incongruously in a thread about fanny.

Re: Onslow's new motor.
I paid 450 for it with MOT till October. If it works out ok then it'll get a test and I don't mind spending a bit on it if it needs it. The pickings were slim sub 600 quid but it may well turn out to be an ok hack.Undercover Shitter wrote: ↑Fri Apr 14, 2023 3:36 pm Never really paid any attention to these, but after looking at yours I can't help thinking they've aged really nicely.
