Jap import? I seem to recall they did a CB400 and GSX400 as well due to some law over there. Along with many others.

It's a acquired taste, using loads of fuel to go very slowly. Even more perverse was Ford's simultaneous production of 2 versions of their1172 sidevalves. The cheaper one lacked a water pump and proper crankcase ventilation, providing both a cold and smelly driving experience.

For sale on facebook for 100 grand. I know it is mega rare but really it was shit when built which is why they went down the pan. They used to be based in Harlow as well which is another good reason for their demise. I have never seen one though but did know they existed. Lets see how long it takes for Merc to name that car !
