Re: Wobland Spottage
In their original guise these things were one of the most unpleasant vans to travel in. 5 years ago I drove more than 200 miles in one and the Bedford CA van I took even further was a much better proposition as well as being a more usable shape. Being impractical and as ugly as a wart hasn't hampered Juke sales though.

By reading the blurb it seems to be aimed at the hipster, PR firm, coffee van etc. market.
At 60k they're welcome to it in my view.

Yep-if you can afford a tenner or whatever for a bowl of cereal at a hipster cafe then this is a bargain.

I just feel that this should have stayed dead, the same way that the MG badge should have.
Unless you can produce something worthy of it, like Bentley, it's just slapping a badge onto something that bears no relation to it.

And an incorrect badge....J vans were badged as Morris, not Morris Commercial which were the heavier range.

I love this place. The depth of arcane, possibly useless, but very important information is truly impressive.

If they can find 1500 lunatics a year to buy this as a UK produced vehicle then good luck to them. I have to admit to badge inaccuracy on my part too, the one I drove was an Austin 101mercrocker wrote: ↑Fri Nov 15, 2019 9:00 amchadders wrote:

Unlikely placement of the phone box betrays this cosy TV drama location. I suspect the sight of this actual van beetling across people's screens is what made the replica a viable proposition.
