What did you do today?

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

It's a tool for a job and no more. I will maintain it but not much else.

We went to costco to buy a shelving unit. I spent an hour building it and tidying the garage.

Hadn't been started in weeks and out in all weathers. Still started first click. She followed me for a bit before I fucked off for s twenty mile ride around Newcastle.
She said it smelt smelly when I got back. Would that be because it doesn't have a cat? I can smell in now and then too.

Took the Jag to see the nice man with the spray gun. 9:00 am ffs which meant being out with the dogs at ridiculously early o'clock. Chester, is not a morning dog...

I have to be honest and say, driving early this morning was a fucking nightmare: the sun was bright and low and going up the hill towards the beach, I could barely see the parked cars on the left! No joke, I was scared.

Obviously, without the Jag, I have had to slum it in the Merc, such a hardship :) The sun was still out this afternoon, so while it was fucking cold, it was dry so the law says: the roof MUST be down.

So it was.

Seat heaters so Bella and I both had warm arses (Chester gets the heater blowing on his bum, he's not left out) and I had the 'Airscarf' playing on the back of my neck. So while I undoubtedly looked a complete prize prick, I like driving it sans roof.

Airscarf really is one of the great modern inventions, isn’t it? As I’m also an old tart, I always have the roof down ( if dry) in both the SLK and E Class because of Airscarf, whereas the Boxster I only drive topless when it’s properly sunny. Fuck knows how cold these Morgan and Caterham perverts must be in the winter.
