I don't think that was a top gear video. From the description it looks like a Mercedes training video and so those two were probably paid to only say positive things. At least Tiff didn't sell his soul to the three pointed star and just gave the chat to the technical element. Even then you can see the driver in the ESP element not driving the same with the one without - hardly a fair test.

I do think Quentin was struggling a bit to find faults with the others. Like moaning about red lights on a dash in the Audi (which is a common Audi design feature of the era) and completely avoiding the fact they're red as it doesn't affect your night vision. Something that I wish car manufacturers still cared about with their glitzy bright, modern big touch screens.

I hate red dashboard lights. They might not affect night vision but they make my eyes ache and give me a headache, so they deserve moaning about.

Dashboards should be black, white numbers and green lighting.

There is nothing wrong with the bloody instrument lighting of this shitbox, relax.
To the contrary, realising the age structure of their clientele, they made the speedo as big as a saucer, so even I can read it without wearing my old man glasses.
I have developed a pathetic appreciation for things designed for old people.

What on earth happened here to cause this? Did the distress of your 405 dieing cause a brief brain blip to sanity? Or just found a new side to yourself after a long forum hiatus and spending too long on Twitter?

I mean it's so bad that it does look great as Ghosty suggests. But the big V8, American land yacht loving Junkman in a small literal box of tiny Japanese engined automobile curiosities is not what I would have expected.
