Oh dear...

It's was £80. He said it was more difficult than he thought so if I, or anyone, needs another it'd be double.

Pretty good price I'd say. I paid £20 to get a hole in an ali sump welded up & it was a tiny hole.

He said when I went to get it can't the original be welded but I think it's pretty thin and if it can't at least there's another option now as opposed to chucking it.

A '22 plate and said to be classed as a moped

I had a Lifan e-scooter. Was good for 40 mph on the flat (tweaked controller) and did about 30 miles on a charge. I have the build of a darts player, so it didn't like dragging me up inclines. I sold it as where I live now is up a big hill, and would be too steep for it with me on board.

Charging could be done whilst still in the bike, or in the garage as it was easy to take out. Spares were incredibly cheap.

Plus it was a very close colour match to my KTM, which help sway me into buying it.

Maybe you can but after a lot of looking on old forums and both Facebook groups it seems it's a custom axel alot like ones fitted to some Jeeps but just different enough to not to fit.

Some people think it might have been fitted to some Sherpas but again no one is sure.

Ordering up a gasket would give you an idea quite easily and cheaply? If there's a decent market for them it's probably worth experimenting a bit and working it out.

How's the insurance costs getting on in your state? Talking to my friends who still own properties in Florida. Most are finding it hard to get even basic insurance.

Bloody expensive, in short. We got dropped by our insurance company and had to find another, which naturally drove the cost up substantially. Add then flood insurance, car insurance on top and you begin to raise an eyebrow at the cost of living here.

It's obviously hurricane damage in Florida not flooding, although flooding does go with hurricanes. I still can't believe that Americans don't use proper tiles, but just bitumen shingles nailed to the roof. I has a nice $14k insurance claim to replace the shingles just before I sold it. That was just a storm, not even a hurricane!
