75 waggoni

Post by Parantodd392 »

The 600 and I have now parted ways and I’ve now got myself a dad mobile it’s got a weird gearbox issue where it will go into EP mode at random points which I’m hoping a gearbox flush will help with but loving it a lot

From what I gather it’s emergency program kinda like limp mode but the car drives fine revs till it skips 1st gear and it only comes on after I’ve give the car a bit of beans

Do a search on the 75 and ZT forum, very common issue. There are solenoids on the outside of the box that can crack I believe, not too bad a job to change either I believe.

If you are changing the fluid, make sure you get fluid suitable for the Jatco box, anything else will kill it.

I’ve got it booked in at force tuning for a gearbox flush tomorrow morning,it's really bizarre as it’ll be fine and then go into ep mode and miss 1st gear I’ll turn the car off and on again and it’ll be fine

Turns out I now have the ep light on permanently so gonna change the 2/4 solenoid as that’s the next port of call otherwise it’s the wiring behind the dash to check, the car is stressing me out loads atm just want it sorted

If you're going to get stressed out loads by a faulty car, then why buy a faulty car in the first place? The mind boggles.
