I once sold a rotten as pear 240z to Spike Anderson when he was based at Silverstone, paid £150 drove it from Buckingham to Silverstone, mostly sideways and he paid £400. At the time, 1983, he was buying up anything he could find , more to break than turn into Super Samuri s though.

I had one many years ago (NAF 5F) that my stepfather borrowed and wrote off! He then had to give me money and I bought my Toyota Crown. An excellent result I thought.

I did see an S800 that had been "upgraded" to Morris Minor A series engine and box. It was too horrible even for me. The original dash was still in it but supplemented by the Morris Minor speedo slung under it, held up by string, within knuckle distance of the gearstick.
