Stupid questions about motorised conveyances

Even more annoying is that I replaced this wheel already as it was very slightly buckled when I bought the car. Only cost me £20 from a member of C30CrewUK I met at a car show!

I think you should be able to get that buckle sorted out by one of the better repair places

I've just had a google of this and none of the places near me give a price so I'll have to phone around tomorrow I suppose

I've got one to do on my car at some point as it keeps randomly going down. I'll be going to the Blacksmiths, heating the area with a gas axe and twatting it about with bits of wood and a big rubber mallet.

Surely there are some proper specialist places about to do it? There's enough rally/road rallying going on in Ireland, someone must do it locally?

It's one of those that needs sorting, They were rare back in the day and only weigh 4.7kg or so

Yes if you go to somewhere reputable, we used to get damaged superbike rims repaired fairly regularly

I took the wheel to Tom the mechanic and he spotted the tyre has a bulge opposite the dent on the rim, amazing it hasn't lost any air really.
He's going to send the wheel away for repair then supply a new PS5. Also I booked it in next Thursday for him to change the rear discs and check out the suspension and structure properly. I think it must be ok as it didn't pull at all either way after the impact, but better to be checked.

You'll be able to have that alloy wheel repaired by one of thos mobile wheel refurb vans. I'd change the tyre though.

Is it ok to patch a subframe or should it be replaced?
(Scrapping the car might be the best option)
