Broke down yesterday. Car refused to do 55, fuel starvation.
Had just fueled up, got about ten miles and it started to splutter.
Pulled the fuel filter off and it was blocked solid with refinery sand. Removed the filter and replaced it with a barbed fitting in the AutoZone parking lot and that fixed it.
Need to get some more filters, I think I'll abandon the type it has and just put inline ones.

Got annoyed at the x trail had a rush of blood and stick it on Facebook marketplace place for 700.
Had a heap of messages and sold it within a couple of hours for 650. MOT expired and lights on dash.
Now I need to replace it asap.

I think the EGR valve on my daily 118d shit box is playing up. Cruising on light throttle you can just feel it surging, classic symptoms. So I had a secondhand EGR delete kit in a box, and on it went.

The OSF damper on my 75 is leaking a lot of oil and my Saab has thrown an ABS and flashing TC light.

FFS. I'm sure they gang up on us. Hope the Saab at least stays driveable. My Focus is going in for dash repairs later in the week after doing the warning light bingo....

I have fixed* it with black tape for now. MOT isn't till May so it can wait till then as it doesn't affect the drive.
My Astra MK4 dash used to funny things but a swift dunt from the heel of my hand on the dash top sorted it for another 6 months
