Two wheels good.

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

5000 miles less than I had on my GSX-R750 when it got written off. It was a bit unreliable electrically by then though.

I want to see your surpass that

So do I, I've always said it'll get properly tidied up at 250k. No reliability problems currently, it just works as well as it always has.

Doesn't feel like I am.
Common issue on lots of scooters, especially when they sit low like the vespa does. The pedal for stand is on the left side so will grind out alot. I can also verify from experience that it will throw you off if you get a bit of bounce mid corner.

You may now give Hooli lessons in tackling left hand corners.

One reason I'm not a big fan of scooters. Tend to be softly sprung and these pothole ridden roads are awful.

The number of scooter type things I see with the centre stand flapping up and down as well it must be a leading cause of accidents.

Not working today so I planned to get up early enough to wash 14, fit brake pads at both ends, replace the clutch fluid, adjust the chain & get her in for a MOT.

What actually happened is I got up late, it pissed it down, I did all the jobs with the rear pads being last & discovered the 'complete set of pads' I had on the shelf was two front sets. The local parts place didn't have any non-sintered on the shelf so they are getting some in tomorrow. I'll order the normal make I use & put them on the shelf with the second set of fronts that are still there.

As there was no point rushing home having ridden the Hornet to the parts place, I stopped at J&S chatted to the lass I know in the burger van & had a late lunch.
