Saw a new advert on Facebook for a lotus elite project not too far from drum towers.

Can you just stick it under cover for another 3 years or so? Looks bloody tidy and would make a frugal little tax exempt runabout and it's bound to gain a few quid too.

I took the Jag down to TQ1 garage for its MOT and service tomorrow. I have a Corsa (what the fuck is with the indicators?) as a 'get me home' job, reg number MOT123!
Just had a phone call, they had a cancellation so have MOT'd it early... it failed! Gutted...
Not really, was sort of expecting it, it's failed on the dust cover that was an 'advise' last year but it's a whole arm so another £207 on top of the £270 for the service and MOT. However, all the spurious 'Advisories' from last year have magically repaired themselves including the leaks and the rusty subframe!
They are going to do the joint and then do a wheel alignment but doubtful they can do the service as well as it's only booked in for a limited time. I've had a nag, and she's going to try and get both done. We all know what a fucking worrier I am and it not being serviced (even though it's only done 800 miles since the last one) will drive me fucking insane!

Went to Duns today and the Jim Clark museum , only 3 cars , Cortina, D Type and a Lotus 38 Indy car, but well worth a visit for the Trophies and memorabilia .
