So did I, mainly because it was free as my dad (I think) liberated it from the shop he worked in. I wore it to school which was against the uniform rules but I didn't care as it kept me warm.

I never understood why the press called it a "duffel coat" and slagged Footy off so much (well, I do, but there we go...) I think he was just one of those unfortunates who always looked scruffy no matter how good his clobber was.

A duffle coat had to have toggles IMHO.

I had the blue parka with orange lining and furry hood fringe too.
Can't believe they haven't cycled back into fashion by now. Most things do.

I'll bet lyneham's wardrobe is hilarious. Open uni maths lecturer look I'll wager
