Re: Squire's voitures
It is when it's in my mouth, but unfortunately I find it less so as it passed downstream...
What made you get a van? Just because?

Bloody good job you can, by the looks of it.....That reminds me of the "Ramraiders" episode of Steptoe.

Re: Squire's voitures
Falafel is disgusting goat crap. Of course I'm not turning it into a hipster food van.
It is indeed a Commer Walk-Thru, well done that man. Ex Surrey Ambulance Service (APD 303B is on the internet outside the works). It came about through the gentleman who I met at Beaulieu, who mentioned he had some Humber Snipe engines, gearboxes and overdrives which I subsequently bought, also had this Commer he told me about, which has the same 6 cylinder petrol engine as the Humber, albeit with a lower output. This was in November, but I could not stop thinking about it. Never before would I have thought of a vehicle like this, but since I was offered it and I could see its potential (it is part fitted out as a camper and the gentleman used it to trade at Beaulieu), I agreed to buy it. The van has not been on the road for 30 years but has been dry stored, so it is a long term project but will not take much to actually get running. The important thing is the dry storage. So Conrad and I have been going along to clear space around it and get it rolling ready for recovery.
