Re: Bangernomics big van thread
Turns out I have the right jack out of my one before last camper as we always took a little trolley jack with us. When I sold it the guy wanted the jack and didn’t haggle so I let him have it.
It fits in the polystyrene thing too.

Just when I thought I was out they dragged me back in.

Spare wheel thing is screwed too, it’s like the Multipla wire on a ratchet thing. That explains why it was in the back.
Could of ratchet straps and it’s back under there.

Are those spares like transits and prone to bring stolen if you leave them in the original mounting point?

Re: Bangernomics big van thread
God damn batteries.
Well this has been boring and worked until today.
Mrs B left the SLD not quite shut for a few days whilst I was in the UK (also pissed water through my newly plastered ceiling and smashed her phone) as she does with every funking thing including the freezer door almost daily and the battery has died. Why oh why can’t she just close a door or tighten a lid on a milk bottle so you don’t get pissed wet with milk when you grab it.
I really don’t want to dig out the battery and fanny about as I’m guessing it’s under the floor somewhere? I’ve left it on charge via the jump point for a couple of days and will update what is a pretty boring read sorry.
Maybe a good long drive to the shops via some country lanes will revive it?

Bangernomics big van thread
Nope charging didn’t help enough to start it, bump and did 10 miles and it still hadn’t charged up. Will spur me on to fit the Multipla battery and transfer the breeze block to the van.
Arse
At least it shows 14 odd volts when running so it’s trying to dump some charge back in.

Re: Bangernomics big van thread
What’s a normal voltage for a battery to be sat at after being charged for 2 days then left for a day? 12.7 ok? Wondering if the van battery is recovered or not?
