Proper British traffic lights, with an amber that stays onPhilA wrote: Sat Feb 08, 2025 4:20 am Best part of Gibraltar was the traffic lights. You could actually see them in the sunshine.
The rest of it, meh. Bit like being in Birmingham but sunny.

Re: What did you do today?
Took my Czech friends over to ride the Alto de Velefique (commonly known as the Spanish Stelvio). I last rode it in early December, when there was freezing fog at the top and the road was a bit icy.
Today was beautiful weather, blue skies and, although there was still a bit of snow evident, it was not so cold. And totally devoid of traffic, except for two Brit registered BMW bikes (only one a GS).
Great views from the top, including a herd of deer
that were making there way down. Not sure where we are going tomorrow, my last day out with them before I head home on Friday, to see if my builder has done any of the work he promised to do

It is. Coming back here with a mate from UK in a couple of weeks, as I'm looking for some new routes to ride when mates visit.
Incidentally, I'm riding to Czechia later this year for their "4 Day Biking Event", but will have 3 to 4 weeks free to ride home the long way. Do you recommend Romania?

Yeah, I loved it until I got knocked off. The driving is entertaining, it's not aggressive but it's a free for all & laws are optional. The countryside was beautiful & the old towns all gorgeous. I need to go back, just won't happen this year.Jerzy Woking wrote: Tue Feb 11, 2025 6:41 pm

However, misleading on my part. The paint that's coming from Michigan is already applied to bodywork.
