Took a bit to get going but once running she happily stays running.

Moved the MGB around earlier when cold.

Re: That awful colour MGB GT
Went for a little jaunt this evening. Remembered why I bought this car and why we moved. Unlike Bristol City, I can buzz around back roads around here at my owns speed. If I did happen to break down, I can simply pull over and wave to the occasional motorist passing.
Anyway here are some scenic pictures out and about.

Poo. At least petrol is cheap at the moment. Hopefully just needs nipping up.

Can you raise that pipe up a bit (just for me) it looks a bit vulnerable!

That's some kinda newfangled electric fuel pump I take it?

Ha it's not that bad. It's about the same level as the bottom of the exhaust. Was a pain the utter arse trying to get that routed under a car while it was on jacks.DodgeRover wrote: ↑Sat May 16, 2020 9:33 pm Can you raise that pipe up a bit (just for me) it looks a bit vulnerable!
Funnily enough I was looking at the rear suspension earlier and I think those springs need changing out. Now it's being used again, there isn't much travel before it hits the bump stops!
It's a Hardi - one of those German copies of the SU pump. It has points still but they're electrically assisted like you can do on distributors. So they don't need readjusting or replacing.
Re: That awful colour MGB GT
Is it a Hardi Kruger?

Re: That awful colour MGB GT
Those pre sagged rear springs will probably sell on retro rides where lack of suspension travel is the new god (still)
