Ragged the stag into town back in August and aside from the howling diff bearing A violent vibration had kicked from the back of the car. Yes that is a nice big bulge

And delamination, lucky not to have blown this one out. New tyres now fitted. This set went on in 2002 so I think I may have had my moneys worth out of them.

3rd set of Swallow chicks, most of July and August I have been continually barracked by adult Swallows, cross that I was daring to work under cover. The whole place is inches deep in bird shit. they have all flow now, probably en-route to North Africa. See them again next year, well the ones that don't get caught in the Italian nets and scoffed

Diff and noisy bearing came off the stag, easy enough to do just a pain that the old bearing only lasted 14 years. All back together now and silky smooth

This TR7 engine is very sick, it was a recon. Overheated on the first drive home, waterpump failure was the root cause. the owner replaced the parts and it has knocked ever since. really nasty noise. Owner has a TR8 spec engine and gearbox complete that we are planning to install.

This is the new'ish waterpump out of the TR7, same as a Stag and Dolomite pump. the mesh pattern on the gears look odd. when we removed the pump the knock went away. turned out to be a false positive situation as when we tried to replicate this a day or two further down the line after some serious head scratching it is knocking worse than ever. investigation ongoing but it may just end up as a v8 conversion
