Two wheels good.

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

I forgot to update this, she washed it & advertised it for £1,250. It went to the first viewer.

I've just been going through the 14 again to try & find why it drinks like a fish recently, along with a misfire type feel when cold at times. The misfire being a new thing, it hadn't done that for ages.

I might* have found the issue, I won't know till I use it again. I'd pop out but it's foggy as owt here today so no fun at all. The new vacuum pipes I fitted last winter might have been the issue, the end had come loose on the MAP sensor. I've trimmed it & it's a tight fit again, I've also pinched it in place with a cable tie around it. They are fine everywhere else & are the right size so it's odd, but there you go.

FFS HOOLI!
No gaskets, no sealant, no torque wrenches.

No wonder they leaked like sieves and needed rebuilding every 500 miles.

I've been offered three bikes for spares/repair for £400. I think I'd make a profit on it so considering, it's just collecting them from Switzerland that's the bad news. UK bikes though, he took them out with him but is having no luck selling over there.

92 Blade, runs, also has race body work, ex-track bike & full nearly new Akra system.
99 Blade, road bike, runs.
VTR Firestorm, has run a crank bearing so needs engine rebuild but does run.

I'm tempted, but not sure how long it'd take me to get the money back.
