Re: Two wheels good.
Just exactly how bored would I be of owning a Honda Dullville within half an hour?
I've been offered one for £400.

Re: Two wheels good.
All the stories of tank slappers on the scary thread got me thinking - I haven't ridden a motorbike for years - are these still a thing or are super modern bikes with traction and ABS etc immune?
I keep buying an occasional bike mag and the electronics in some bikes makes them sound uncrashable.

They're popular with rookies here because they are so dull the insurance is minimal.

Re: Two wheels good.
Dunno, but my mates who still have bikes have all kinds of electric gadgetry that allow you to change riding mode and all sorts. Sounds shit to me.AMCrebel wrote: ↑Wed Nov 18, 2020 9:03 pm All the stories of tank slappers on the scary thread got me thinking - I haven't ridden a motorbike for years - are these still a thing or are super modern bikes with traction and ABS etc immune?

Re: Two wheels good.
My main issue with them is the image. They seem to be ridden by real ale drinkers who ride them to the pub on a Sunday afternoon for a pint of Bishop's Jism, pulled straight from the wood...Eddie Honda wrote: ↑Wed Nov 18, 2020 9:16 pm They're popular with rookies here because they are so dull the insurance is minimal.

When we were all razzing about on scramblers, a mate of mine got himself a deauville when he was only about 20.
He went on to become an adventurer and film maker. Make of that what you will.
