Well today was interesting. Also gave the Peugeot a good run out. Over to a friends then a 45 mile trip south to leicester to look at a caravan to find out the cunt had sold it while I was travelling and didnt think to ring and then 45 mile home quickly followed by a 85 mile round trip north to mexborough to look at another caravan. That was also rotted out all along the bottom. Rather scary though as the two guys who we were meeting there seemed to have bought back up,5 more blokes in a mondeo. We scarpered. In more relevant news the Peugeot did ok but fuel economy has taken a dive. At 70 on cruise its averaged just 38mpg. Usually does mid 40s.
The 2 lads in van cant have been much more than 25 and there was also a toddler running around. I had my mate and his bro in car and i said where did mondeo come from and my mate in back said it just appeared behind us as we were pulling up at the lock up. Like a ninja,I didnt even notice and I check mirrors frequently.

Always said I'd replace Peugeot with a van. Just so happens it is an escort. Paid 500 quid with mot till August, new tyres and cambelt and clutch done approximately 6k ago. Bought it from kidderminster with a split leak off pipe and non functional fuel gauge. Fuel gauge has joined the party this morning and it's got a full tank in it. We had a diesel spill on the rubber load liner in the boot last night out of jerry can so that's been washed and drying in greenhouse.
