Re: Two wheels good.
The TL1000 had a reputation for doing it, wether it was deserved or owner inspired I have no idea. I think later ones for a steering damper as standard.AMCrebel wrote: ↑Wed Nov 18, 2020 9:03 pm All the stories of tank slappers on the scary thread got me thinking - I haven't ridden a motorbike for years - are these still a thing or are super modern bikes with traction and ABS etc immune?
I keep buying an occasional bike mag and the electronics in some bikes makes them sound uncrashable.

Re: Two wheels good.
Wasn't the fault with the TL the radial rear damper (no idea sorry) overheating & causing the handling to go to shit?

Owner inspired by not eating enough pies. If you're over 15 stone you were fine.

Hmm not likely to affect me then - unless the effects of the poor bike trying to drag my portly frame through the air caused it.Eddie Honda wrote: ↑Wed Nov 18, 2020 10:53 pmOwner inspired by not eating enough pies. If you're over 15 stone you were fine.
