I know some ivecos are plated at 4.5 or 5 ton aren't they? Maybe copper got it wrong. If not what else could it be? Chassis cab with a different body on it maybe?

The rozzas aren't wrong.

Van driver taking the piss. 3.5t is plated as such, no operator's licence, no tachograph, etc.

Seen these Polish vans with curtain tarps and sleeping pod over the cab. To run legit weight is impossible, you've more chance sticking a random modern motor on a beavertail transhit.

After a quick shift on google it seems the done thing is to down plate then swap body,add tail lift,sleeping pod etc.

That tail lift and hydraulics must weigh a canny bit.

They do. When I had my old works sprinter luton it could only carry around 700kg
