As a model name, yes, 1931-1970. The Audax (Series) cars in the last three pics went from 1956 to 1963 before a comprehensive nose and tail job saw them into 1967. They were very commonplace cars back in the day.....

My old man's first car (I think I was about 9 or 10 years old) was a Series V Minx. Good memories....

The one pictured was a beauty, just over 30k miles and rock solid underneath. When my mate died it was bought by a local woman who dailied it in all weathers and it was starting to look bubbly when I last saw it a year or so ago.

Such a shame, they're not common in that sort of condition. Our dad's was bubbling up at the wings in front of the A posts when it was 5 years old.

My Series 6 was incredibly sound apart from one outrigger, for some odd reason. Certainly the best condition of any old motor I've ever owned, one way or the other it had essentially been unused since 1970.

This and the next few literally are found pics, I came across them in a bag of my late mate's stuff in the back of the Gazelle a couple of months ago whilst preparing for the move. Been meaning to share them with you for a while so let's piss away the last few hours of this shitheel year looking at some snaps of old heaps from at least twenty years ago..
