I saw a press release earlier on FB to say Jag built their last proper car yesterday. They only do EVs now, perfect timing as the arse falls out of the market for the crappy unwanted things.

Ford’s electric flagship Mustang Mach-E has this month become the first autonomous car model to cruise in the UK, following regulatory approval in April. Mustang Mach-E features Ford’s driving assistance technology "BlueCruise”.
BlueCruise allows drivers to let go of the steering wheel on certain motorways.

Eco warrior Musk at it again.
11 mins into the vid they have the Model Y and Cybertruck battery packs side by side showing clearly how they are glued together. They've done it to make the chassis stronger and lighter with the slight* drawback of making the complete battery pack a throwaway item if anything goes wrong/happens to it. So that's only 1344 massive lithium cells PER vehicle, for the truck.
Some of the packs will no doubt lead a second life but what happens to them after that? Some current recycling methods are massively energy intensive. Making them even harder to repair makes no sense at all.

I don't think it making sense has even been considered.
It's about metal out of the door and sod any later problems.
Given the way the EV market seems to be going it'll be interesting.

Post been removed already was it something EV combusting? They don't fit the Facebook narrative so get removed
