Re: Squire's voitures
Went to Beaulieu autojumble, it's the only one worth bothering with now. We struggled to get around it all and there was still areas I didn't scrutinise properly, but I got what I wanted, mainly Humber/Lucas bits. I bought a CD plate which will look right in place on that car.

I did, a couple of times. It formed the subject of my opening post here:The Reverend Bluejeans wrote: ↑Tue Sep 10, 2019 11:15 am Don't ever be tempted to go to the Newark Autojumble.

Re: Squire's voitures
I missed Beaulieu thanks to my job. Apart from a couple of voluntary absences like the year I got married and another time I went to Canada or somewhere, I must have done nearly all of them since 1974 (I rode my bicycle there the first couple of years until I got a licence....).
The Spring one I am a bit meh about although there is usually a big Morris contingent there but a year does not feel complete without having slumped in a chair with assorted crap all over the floor after the September Autostumble. It is an absolutely ideal time of year to get hold of winter-prep stuff and fireside reading matter.
Sure, some of the stalls are wank and some of the prices laughable but overall it is indeed worth making it the only one to bother with....
If anybody intends to attend both "Beaulieus" in any one year it is well worth considering becoming a member of the Friend's Trust as you get in free, I think it costs about three visit's worth of entrance money. More importantly you jump much of the queuing to present your card and walk in.

Jesus wept. What are you doing looking at the underside of a car?
Next you'll be prodding and then the real nightmare will start.
