It's not far really. Couple of hours. Nicosia is really interesting, well worth a visit. As is crossing over to the Turkish side. Not much to see on the rest of the island really. The dirt roads are great though ☺

Look at this mismatched, rotten, sellotaped eyesore. I think it’s a Monte Carlo.
The front was even better - it was completely shagged.

Stayed at HotelShite for the last couple of days. In its glory days it would have had Ingrid Bergman or Sophia Loren swanning around the place looking fabulous, but today the place is owned by the wife of the deceased original owner, and she can be found most mornings walking around the various patios talking jibberish to trees and items of furniture. The day to day is run by the hapless daughter who just can’t be arsed with the hassle of people wanting, well, anything at all really beyond tipping wheelbarrows of Euros into her debt recovery plan.

Anyway, along with the 1980/90s music (we had Martika Toy Soldiers and various tracks from Achtung Baby on loop throughout the one incredible dinner we had there which can only be appreciated by those who lived as teenagers through the 80’s), this is the car park.

Wow, Martika Toy soldiers. I had forgotten that song existed. I'm not sure I'm happy to be reminded though since it is now going round in my head (well a small fragment of it) for the first time in 30 years...

Nice pointing on the crazy paving. Looks like mine.

Nestling under the Kirkstead bridge and sporting a 13 tax disc is this last of the series 2as. It's a treat to see one that hasn't been smothered with chequer plate and 'one life' stickers. Painting on the bonnet jars, but proper diesel badge is nice.

While that sounds good and I'd like to see the buffer zone bits there's no chance when I'm with a 9 Year old that's being a twat sulking at everything and leaving all his food, which is proper getting on my tits.

Anyway that's a story for another time. Today I have seen this thing.

And a white Belmont (that looked like tied was for sale) with Opal Kadett badges that I of course didn't get a picture of.
These are some words.
