Re: Wobland Spottage
It was in the car park at work last night when I left at ten. Suspect it is the same brummie man on the night shift who sometimes brings a moggy minor, it's parked in the same spot. Trouble is I have no chance to ask him about it.
As I suspected I was right about everything.

Re: Wobland Spottage
I had a 1963 Grand Prix back in 1983/4, it was black with a superb black interior. It was an Antwerp built car so speedo in KM but it was pretty loaded with power steering/brakes/windows/seat/antenna, tilt steering wheel, eight lug wheels too. Power came from a well worn 389ci V8 via an auto box that when cold had to be manually shifted otherwise it would miss second, once warm it was fine. It liked its fluids to be checked and topped up but ran well, indeed one day I was returning from a show with friends in Chargers, Camaros etc who were pissing about but I got fed and just passed them doing an easy 100mph, they were quite surprised. It did have a couple of holes in the chassis just by the rear wheels plus another couple of holes in the back bumper which were fixed by putting a Chicago radio station's decals over them. I liked the car, one cold winter's night I was returning from the Chelsea Cruise and decided to try the radio and there I was, clad in my 50s overcoat, Bobby Darin singing Mack the Knife and the GP running perfectly. It was just a really nice few minutes. I sold the car (for a profit) to a young guy from Ealing and have never seen it since. I'd like another. Oh I delivered the GP to him from SE London with my mate following in his RHD 64 Impala convertible. GP delivered we decided to call in at an American spares shop called Gary's Shack which is where I first saw a lovely 61 Impala bubbletop coupe which was for sale. A while later it was mine...

Re: Wobland Spottage
We parked just up the road to keep the riff raff out the way.

Re: Wobland Spottage
Apparently it got kept because when he was little he overheard his dad saying he was going to sell it. They found him locked inside the car screaming and refusing to get out so it stayed
