Re: Wobland Spottage
I can sort of understand it on a bike but to bring your car from South America?? How much does a boat cost?
That said there was a bloke on YouTube that took a Puma to America. Said it was cheaper to be there either it for 6 months than to hire a car. He did know a shipper though.

These are some words.

No idea on costs, but cheaper than hiring & freedom to go where you want, when you want & travel onwards as you want means it makes sense to me for a long trip.

Could it have been some sort of diplomatic car or do they all have to have CD plates?

Re: Wobland Spottage
Christ it’s dismal weather in northern Spain right now! 11 degrees and pissing down. I brought shorts for this?
Anyway Bilbao deprived me of a Renault 19 just now as a rain drop smashed into my phone lens.
But here is a 5 minute hotel to restaurant haul.
You’d have a Xantia on it’s sorry ass but the file is too large and I haven’t any feeling left in my thumbs to edit it down

The rain in Spain falls mainly on the car...doesn't rhyme does it?

Re: Wobland Spottage
A couple from Milan today. Not a great deal of chance to snap stuff as I have to navigate in Chinese to a chap who likes to drive like an Italian.
Just a quick note to any of you here who volunteered their services for this jaunt. The schedule evolved and we realized we needed to fly drive, fly drive. No point trying to drive from Bilbao to Milan at the moment as the torrential weather would make it ridiculous. We have had to condense the 4 week trip into 2 and we eliminated a load of suppliers at an exhibition last month. TL:DR sorry to get any hopes up. Vueling and Sixt was the sensible option.
You would not have enjoyed the car park today either. Designed for Fiat 500s although I doubt they have the power to get up the incline. There were some Ferrari’s parked on the 5th subterranean level. It would take balls of pure Osmium to take one of those down those spirals.
