Car cleaning was a regular Sunday thing.

People took pride in their cars as they'd probably saved for ages to buy them, non of this PCP bollocks that is going to end up with the manufacturers subsidising it taking a bath at some stage.

As Mercrocker says the 1100 was a good design, it certainly beats pustule encrusted monstrosities like the puke hands down.

In Germany it was Saturday.
Except my parents, who derided the ritual.
