This Capri pic, that the grabbing cunts at Photofuckit have watermarked, is deffo a crossflow. Maybe even a 1300?

Although I did have GXL headlights on my facelift 1600GT with a 2.0Pinto in it in 1985, so who knows .
A 3000 GXL is more likely to be an auto and therefore easier for a 14 year old rioting Scouser of Afro Caribbean heritage to drive.

Any guesses as to whether this Mk4 base is a 1.3 or 1.6?

No L badge so could be even a 1.3 base 2 door. Mebbe.

I don’t think 1300 had an engine size badge, just said Cortina. So,that would make it a 1.6 .
I am not going out to the shed to check a Cortina brochure at this time of night, however.

Final anorak point....The Zephyr 4 MkIII pictured earlier is a pre March '63 car - high grille, Zephyr letters on bonnet and bar motif above bumper. That's it for tonight....
