That reminds me that Richard Tompkins who created and owned Green Shield Stamps, decided that as he bought 100’s of Escorts and Cortinas for reps he might as well make money on each one so opened a Ford Dealership in Bedford. He called it Charles King on the assumption there would soon be a King Charles, he died in 1992 so never saw that happen. As his business was almost literally printing money, he couldn’t spend it fast enough, he owned the plate 007 and had it on various Rollers, legend has it that Cubby Broccoli , or least his U.K. production company , offered a blank cheque for it. But he’d never sell.

A local convenience store entrepreneur down our way, Bob Sperring, had "O7" on a series of cars, most memorably a dark blue Corniche.

Just looked th number up and it’s still on a white Spirit, prob@bly the very car I drove a few times in about 1989.
