I did that at a bike rally. The flood was strewn with empties. I accidentally stood on one and my ankle twisted and I went down like a sack of spuds. This was on the Friday night. I hobbled around all weekend. Luckily I was on the trike that I had at the time so I was able to get home ok. (V8 Rover auto box.) I eventually went to minor injuries on Monday and it turned out I’d broken my fibula. Cue six weeks in a cast getting around on crutches.

Blimey, that was worse than it looked then! Can't blame the beer, though - it would still have been in safe hands with the Newkie inside it!
