Lovely stuff.....I don't remember the London ones but there were trolleys down here in Bournemouth until the mid-60s. Went on 'em a few times with my Dad during his footy days, they were eerie things to a kid used to clattering Bristol LDs. I worked with a fella whose retirement project was to collect a photograph of every LT trolleybus - he had less than halfway to go when he left work....

I remember going on a tram in Leeds, probably in the very late 50s.

I believe they turned it around due to carb icing issues?
