It's called Lymington The Sound of Success. It came in a bundle of mags and books.

Amazing how one headlamp was deemed sufficient on the milk lorry. I had a Nuffield tractor with only one, the second cost extra.

Lighting regs back then seemed to concentrate more on the dazzle factor than being able to see where the fuck you were going....I would imagine the lamp on the churn float was more for fog than darkness. Thinking about it, too, the W&E battery floats around our way persisted with a cyclops until they disappeared altogether in the 90s. Whole cities of traffic circulated in the Fifties just on side lamps, of course.

That Escort on the ferry looks like it might be a Harrier. Not taxed since 1983 barely made its first MoT, either nicked and rung or stripped crashed, rallied or More likely all of the above!
