That much? Why not sell it on the beige?
I agree with your last sentence though.
What's the most trivial reason you've scrapped a car for?

How much is scrap money for it?paulplom wrote: ↑Mon Jun 27, 2022 4:57 pm I may scrap that 147 if no one buys it. It would be criminal considering it has a full ticket. Scrap money can't be much less than it owes me.
I'd insure it but I can't remember who I insured the A8 with to swap it over and I'll be fucked if I'm buying another policy for it to just sit there.
I'll give it a weeks stay of execution.

I was offered £570 or something for the 300c with no mot.
I'd like to think car takeback or whatever would give me £500 with a full test.

I refuse to have two cars, so this one needs to be going & so forth.

After all this time off the road can you still class the Jag as a car as opposed to garage storage like shelves?

300c is a heavy vehicle though. Cartakeback don't give a shit about test length unfortunately, unless it's something newish they can easily resell.
The last A4 I had was being offered £350 iirc, but prices do seem to very a lot depending where you are.
