Got given this trailer off Red5. It did have a wooden body but it was tatty and rotten. I replaced all the wood with tin and made a ramp for it. It's really light and you can move an engine about like it's in a wheelbarrow!

Is that trailer available to borrow? How much weight will it take without breaking it roughly? I've got a shit load of hardcore to move and no it's not magazines :-p
It won't hold much weight, an engine and box is too heavy for it really. After ten miles the tyres were really hot. I have another trailer here that is far more suitable for heavy work. It's a twin axle, maximum payload unknown!
That sounds more like it then. I've got 8-10 tonne of stuff to shift. Know anyone who wants a gateway sorting or a base for a shed? It's a mix of broken bricks, tile etc so should tamp down well.

Sod shifting that loading and unloading by hand, you want a grab wagon, find an owner driver and give them 150£ to grab it and take it away, otherwise any local farmers want it?

If I didn't live where I live I would totally agree. I know a firm locally with grab wagons and that is certainly a lot cheaper than skips! My problem is I have no off road parking whatsoever and live on an extremely busy High Street with a constant stream of Quarry lorries and huge tractors and trailers rumbling through. I'd have to dump it all on the road and the wagon would have to pull up alongside to load so it's impossible to do it that way sadly. The council want £125 just for the permit for a skip so they can fucking whistle too.
I'm waiting back on one local to get back to me and see if she wants it, otherwise I've arranged for it to go to a farm that's a 15 min drive away, I just need to get it there. 80% of it is bagged ready to go and I've asked another mate if he'll give us a hand for beer money, he's a scaffolder so used to some decent graft.
